Owner of this accommodation was extremely nice! He wrote to me in advance, waited for me till evening (I didn't need to rush as I was travelling from Puerto Natales 6h by car), gave us the keys, showed us apartment, gave us tips for best cheesecake in the town (just on the opposite side of accommodation and he was right about it), recommended good restaurant (unfortunately they were booked for next 4 days), advised to us the best breakfast in the town (just across the street, where you get 50% discount if you are staying in this accommodation, so really rich breakfast for 2 people cost you just 7euros!! and it was delicious). Apartment is huge, nice, clean, you have there everything what you need and also location is great. If I would be that lucky to go to El Chelten one more time in my life, I would stay here again. I'm preferring self check-in, but in this case II would go with this approach over and over again :) Thanks for everything!

We stayed at MerKaba Aparts during a very cold period in Patagonia. The apartments were super warm and completely self-sufficient. It was nice coming back to the apartments after a long day of hiking. Lucianna and Germán were such amazing hosts. We had a situation where Aerolineas Argentinas cancelled our flight out of El Calafate and we couldn't leave Patagonia for another 2 days. We decided to stay in El Chalten rather than head back to Calafate because we loved our time in the town and at the apartments. Lucianna and Germán worked with us to solve our dilemma and communicated any updates they found out from the airline with us via Whatsapp, and opened their doors up to us for an extra two nights. Thank you for your hospitality Luciana and Germán. We won't forget our stay here at MerKaba Aparts (we even have your stickers on our drink bottles now!).
