Great location. Kandersteg is one of the best places you would want to be in winter. You can go to Oeschinen Lake(cable car from Kandersteg) for some breathtaking views both in summer and winter. That is also a great place for skiing for beginners and more experienced people. The place is a bit outdated, but you have all the facilities you need and you will be greeted by great staff. The pizza they have at the ground floor restaurant is great and you get to choose your toppings. We only went on a short trip and stayed only one night but it was one of the best experiences we had in Switzerland. In the first day we went to Lauterbrunnen and took the cable car to Mürren(about 1h by car from Kandersteg) and in the second day we went to Oeschinen Lake. Lots of things to do in the area, so even a 1 or 2 week stay will be pleasant. Breakfast was nice and the staff was nice.

Anuschka is a great host and we had an absolutely amazing 2-night stay. Great location, pleasant and clean rooms, well equipped kitchenette and offers spectacular views of the mountains. The stay is just a minute walk from Adelboden Falkiport bus stop and a 5 minute drive from Adelboden post. There is a small supermarket (Volg Supermarket & Bäckerei Oester) as well near the bus stop. Anuschka is a great person to talk to and gave us interesting info about the valley. She even recommended and drove us to a spectacular location in the valley for which we are very grateful. We would like to thank Anuschka for making our stay pleasant and memorable :)

We loved everything! We wish we could have stayed longer. The views are just spectacular! I could wake up there every morning! Easy access to the house, well equipped with everything you need, they left free coffee and there are drinks for a reasonable price if you want them. We met the family briefly and they're very sweet! Everything about this accommodation was perfect. The house is peaceful, and the sound of Swiss cowbells outside is simply beautiful. Waking up to the morning view felt unreal, and the kitchen inside the room was fully equipped and spotless. The room itself was spacious, and the bed was incredibly cozy. Among my 15-day trip, this was one of the most memorable places I stayed. The host was truly, genuinely kind. If I could, I would stay here again for years. Even after returning to Korea, I still miss this place. I will definitely visit again someday.
