Karole is absolutely amazing. The apartment is on a family estate, it’s beautiful and very well furnished. We felt at home, far from the tourist area, in nature. We saw a lot of toucans and other amazing birds. Thank you so much. We had a blast!

It was amazing experience for our family. I wish we could stay longer, there is a lot to do and explore at Ernesto's farm. Wild nature, amazing views, a lot of animals made our stay really exclusive. We definetly recommend this place to all people who want to expirience real and wild Costa Rica! Thanks to Ernesto and his wife for so much fun!

The lodge itself was fine, a bit basic but it was very spacious with a nice deck. But what really makes it worth your stay is the beautiful garden!! Birds everywhere such as toucans, aracari and parrots but you can also see horses, lizards, butterflies and more. Elias is a really kind host who helped us book a wonderful night tour and we can also recommend the breakfast. Rio Celeste is just around the corner. Overall really great value for your money!!

Beautiful chalet, secluded enough to see monkeys and beautiful birds but close enough to town and to Parque Volcan Tenorio to make it convenient. Hosts were very kind and clearly willing to work on any single detail to make the stay enjoyable (a bottle of rose as a gift upon arrival, games for kids, a full well equipped kitchen... nothing was missing). I highly recommend the place.

If you are looking for a peaceful place, in nature, with excellent hosts, this is undoubtedly the right place. The rooms are very welcoming. Several breakfast options, always well prepared. The whole farm is wonderful, a fantastic pool, very well-maintained common spaces, with plenty of space to walk and lots of wildlife. It's close to several national parks. Roger and his wife are wonderful hosts! Always concerned about your stay and showing you around, with lots of tips, always available to help. In addition, they are extremely concerned about transforming the area into a better place, very concerned about the surrounding nature and wildlife. We loved talking and getting to know each other better and we have no other way of expressing how fantastic this place was - next time we return to Costa Rica we will definitely come back here!

Finca Amistad Cacao Lodge offers 60 hectares of Cocoa farm and guests can enjoy tours, chocolate and bird watching. The accommodation features a seating area.

It is indeed one of our best stay during a 3 weeks travel in Costa Rica. It has all - beautiful, very comfortably equiped houses, perfect restaurant, amazing cacao field surroundings, wonderful nature and birds, great people, very interesting tours and a relaxing little spa. Johnny was the best host that you can imagine. He knows a lot about animals and is very helpful. He recommends nice places where you can do activitys around the area. Especially the night tour and the cacao tour are very nice. The hotel has a small garden with a lots of animals. You can see tucans and frogs around the area. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is very good. This place is definitely an recomendation. It was the nicest place where we have been so far in Costa Rica.

Rincon Verde has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Bijagua, 49 km from Venado Caves. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.
