The pictures of this property do not do it justice and the apartment is so homely with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The bed is sooooo comfortable and the sofa is ideal for relaxing. Our host had provided fresh milk, tea, coffee and sugar plus many other condiments along with baked goods for breakfast, it was basically a home from home and I will definitely be returning !! We were actually booked in for three nights, originally booked in for two nights in order to go to Royal Ascot but managed to book an extra night. The station (Reading) is just a 10-15 minute walk away but we chose to get a cab due to luggage. Although not in the centre of Reading the area of Caversham is lovely with lots of lovely shops, restaurants and pubs. Naomi is a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble!!!

The property is renovated to high standard and feels very spacious and comfortable,even though we filled it to full capacity. It has everything a person needs for short holiday, as well as choice of three shops within walking dinstance. We were given caretaker's phone number in case of any difficulties, which was very reassuring. Can not reccommend this property high enough, as it offered more than we expected.

    We had a fantastic stay at Burwood Cottage with family. A picture- postcard property that is full of character, clean, well-equipped, cosy and with secure parking. Located in a peaceful situation with walks directly accessible from the property made it ideal for accommodating our two dogs. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future.
