This is your best bet when travelling with kids and sleeping around Ananuri! We liked the place so much we came again 2 weeks later! We definitely felt at home here and the kids enjoyed playing around the cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at this fabulous guesthouse.Its in a nice quiet spot away from the main road and we had a couple of very relaxing days here.The meals are outstanding and the host family were incredibly welcoming-we even had a lovely family dinner with them one evening. Sophie had really good english, Eka her mum is just fabulous and Erakli is always going to support the All Blacks except when Georgia are playing. I will reciprocate!! This place should not be missed on your Georgia trip. Situated next to a nice lake (good for birding!), you will stay next to a castle which the owner built himself. The owner is very knowledgeable in Georgian culture and history and happy to tell you things you surely did not know about Georgia before. Not only that: he and his family are also outstanding hosts, happy to share a glass or two (or more!) of delicious self-made wine in a truly unique, artistic, cozy, and fascinating place. Something to be aware of: it is possible you will hear singing party guests in the evening - better grab a glass and join in! Thank you, we will definitely come back!
