We booked the budget room but received a upgrade to one with a terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner helped us arrange a private transfer to Madaba at a very low cost. We did a hike in the surrounding area and it was easily followed and gave us some great views. The tent was spotless and the bedding was freshly provided. We really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast and the tea in the Bedouin tent was lovely. It's a very atmospheric place and the staff are wonderful. Very cozy and surprisingly comfortable. The Hobbit Village is very clean, even for European standards. Even during our visit in the winter the room was warm enough with a electric heather. We had good talks with the brother of the owner at the camp fire and the mother cooked delicious food! The staff was extremely helpful, gave us all the information we needed, organised guided trip to the valley next morning. Our guide was very friendly, gave us lot of information about the region and life in Jordan in general. We had breakfast and dinner, the food was amazing, local style, anyone could find something to take. The cottage was simple, very clean, with gas oven, private bathroom with shower. We got a free room upgrade, which was perfect! Very clean. Free tea and water all day long. Obviously quiet and you can do great hikes from there. Food was amazing!
