We stayed in the western/japanese room, the room looks newly refurbished, it is modern and comfortable and has a hot spring tub in the room which was really nice. The dinners were excellent, with different menus each night and we got to taste a variety of seasonal foods and local specialties. Only complain is that there is a bit too much food and we felt bad that we couldn’t finish. The Japanese breakfasts were equally delicious. The staff were all very friendly and tries their best to communicate although we don’t speak any Japanese.

The owner is very friendly and trying her best to make the stay comfortable. She doesn't speak English, but is very well versed with using the translator app, so there weren't any communication problems at all. The room is beautiful, everything is very clean and I felt very relaxed

Fantastic experience to stay in a traditional Japan house that is over 100 years old. Great location in old part of the town, with fantastic restaurants and bars within walking distance. The owner of the property and the staff were excellent hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay a very memorable experience. Thank you so much🙏. Good onsen hotel. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Public onsen is big and has indoor and outdoor. Breakfast is amazing! You can experience many Japanese menu and they are all delicious. They gave us 2 bottles of tea (per 1 person) as a souvenir!
