The ryokan was amazing - the room was beautiful, the futons comfortable, and the staff was very nice and attending. The dinner was very delicious course of several luxurious meals,and the breakfast was a japanese served meal plus a small buffet. The outdoor shared onsen was great, we loved it. Women wear a hotel-provided swimsuit in the outdoor onsen. Men onsen is separated from women and they are open from 6 till 10 and then from the afternoon till midnight. We also tried the private onsen which is an extra charge and needs to be booked in advance and it was nice. There is also a possibility to arrange a massage in your room. The dinner is served at 5 and 7 pm. They provide a free shuttle bus to the station. We plan to definitely come back again in the future, it was a highlight of our trip.

Just directly opposite Kii Katsuura Station and a cafe away from bus ticket office. Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Soap all smell very nice. A good choice for quick stopover to do sightseeing in Nachi San area.

Lovely owners, with great English! We were there to see the Nachi waterfall which was a great location to do this! We had also hired a car and they were very accommodating with parking ! Would definitely recommend x

Incredible "chill house", brand new, super clean, nice deco, plenty of space. The perfect place to enjoy the area. 5 mins away on foot from the JR station, restaurants and supermarket.

What a great stay!! We did the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage ending at Nachi Falls. So happy to find this spot, it is a 15min walk down the road from Nachi falls. There’s not much around to be honest, but we just wanted a quiet spot to sleep. Our host was so lovely, we asked for a dinner bento and breakfast and she personally went to the market and got us those, as well as a bunch of snacks. Just what we needed after an exhausting stay. She also kindly called for a taxi for us on the day we left as it was raining heavily. The house is lovely too!!

Outstanding location and accommodation. Right at the beach, seems like a popular local surfing spot. Charming garden in front - taken care by a host - graceful older lady. Thanks you for your beautiful orchid flower that made us feel welcomed. House is spacious and has all amenities you need (fully equipped kitchen, wash machine, etc.).

The owner personally drove us back to the station and was super friendly and hospitable. Would really recommend this place for anyone staying around here in Nachikatsuura. Bonus points for having a family mart right next door.

    Nakanoshima is an idyllic location; the island is the perfect place to relax and leave all your tensions behind. The personnel, facilities, and service ensure your stay is spotless and exceeds all expectations. We only stayed here for a night, but I wish I could stay for two or three more.
