easy to find location, very clean and with shared facilities to make your own coffee and store food in a fridge. The hotel is a renovated old family house, done with a great eye for detail. Comments said that the neighborhood is noisy and it’s true but we asked for a room with a window to the inner patio and has no issues with noise at all. The owner Edgar and the hotel staff were so friendly, they made us feel very much at home and very comfortable.

This place is beautiful. Any concerns you may have about being too far away are not to be worried about. This place is in a beautiful part of Oaxaca amongst the prettiest European styled streets, with fantastic cafes and restaurants nearby. You don’t even need to walk 5 minutes. It’s an easy walk into town or you can take a short cab ride. We walked. The rooms open up onto the aqueduct that runs behind the hotel, so we were lulled to sleep every night with running water. Definitely better than staying in town with all the street noise. Even when we had hot water issues, the service staff were quick to remedy this by either moving us to a new room or getting the plumber to fix it asap. The chambermaids did such an amazing job cleaning our room they even folded our clothes! It was easy to add Netflix and Amazon prime - I think the bad reviews didn’t actually ask the front desk. They just complained on google. Just incredible service and will 100% be back

The hotel is every bit as beautiful as it looks, if not more! It's close to a park and stores. It's 10 mins walk (very pleasant stroll) from Santo Domingo and the plaza which is bustling and a huge attraction. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was tidied and cleaned every day!

We had booked this hotel before, because it is well positioned for when you need to travel to Oaxaca coast without going to Oaxaca City centre. It is a modern comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds and all the modern conveniences.     Gorgeous little eco-friendly hotel in the heart of Oaxaca. It's an ideal location and we felt super safe there. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were absolutely lovely. The dry toilet situation is a bit weird lol but it felt hygienic and really wasn't a problem for us.
