We had a wonderful few days staying in the rooftop Retreat. It is in the pedestrian zone, right in the center of town, so you cannot take your car to the door. The car park is about a four minute walk away. Once you have climbed the four fairly steep flights of stairs you are in your own little retreat the owner seems to have thought of everything. A spotlessly clean soft bed, small kitchen with everything you needed and a lovely bath, complete with bubbles and toiletries. There were even fluffy robes to put on afterwards. Our host was helpful in suggesting areas we may enjoy, but left us alone to enjoy our stay. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

The warm welcome continued throughout my stay. The staff were top notch and oh so helpful. The room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast beyond expectations and the locality ideal for walking from the station and enjoying the compact town. Having a supermarket within 15m was a bonus.
