Friendly staff, great location, plenty of free parking and spacious room. The wine tasting staff also recommended us to visit the night market when we were there. It was one of the best night markets I’ve ever been to so highly recommend it.

San Luis Obispo Hostel felt like a home away from home. Just a few minutes away from the train station, you see a beautiful green house welcoming you to come inside. When you step inside, you find a hostel that is designed to get conversations started between backpackers/travellers/wanders. The facilities are fantastic - a kitchen with enough room, and storage space, a balcony on the top floor, a front yard and a lovely porch, plenty of restrooms. The dorm I stayed in (female only) was clean, and we had a fan, which helped a lot as it was quite hot outside. The location of the hostel is perfect - close to the train station, with proximity to a cheap supermarket, downtown where you can find lovely shops, bars/restaurants and bus stations to nearby cities (e.g Morro Bay). The staff of the hostel is very welcoming (a big shout out to Gary!!). I loved staying here (and I think you will too). ♥️

Room was huge. easily the biggest room we stayed in on our 4 week trip around California. Staff were extremely helpful. the guy at the front desk made us a a new pot of coffee when we arrived late at night. Breakfast was sensational too.

It was great that it was just near a trolley bus stop to go to the farmer's market on Thursday evening. The receptionist was helpful in directing us there so we could go. It was a very comfortable room.
