It was the perfect place to go to Lamanai which was an awesome day trip with Lamanai River tours. The guide was amazing and gave us a really informative and fun day. Lamanai is well worth the visit, accessed by boat and tucked away in the jungle. Mayan gardens breakfasts were great. The showers are hot although the temp fluctuates, they are a nice, decent hot shower.

The staff members were great. Friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves decent food and drinks and it's situated in a pretty location on the riverside, with good bird and crocodile watching and at a walkable distance from the bus station. The room was clean, and the bedding and towels were worn but clean. We were there on the day a dinner concert was scheduled and the singer was incredible. The isolated location on the edge of town might be a security concern but they lock the gates at night and have a security guard on site.

Beautiful spot right on the water. Bed was very comfortable, wifi worked well, room was spacious and very clean. Great restaurant and staff was exceptional. I'll be back for sure!
