The property was wonderful. I booked the place last minute despite my in and out internet service. (Not to self pay for a month of international service next time you travel). Anyway, I was arriving past the checking time but Florita the host had no problem. As an aside I was planning on taking the Water Taxi to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala from there. She was kind enough to set up a taxi ride for me and even made me an early breakfast. (Ask her how to find a ripe Papaya). Punta Gorda is a small town. Fun to wander around but for me I enjoyed the sounds of nature and silence. Oh! the rooms and apartments are lovely.

Een dag van tevoren gereserveerd: en we kregen onverwacht een mooi groot appartement voor 4 personen op de eerste verdieping van het hotel. Supervriendelijke mensen. Gerund door een familie. Zelden zo gastvrij ontvangen. Het hotel lijkt net vernieuwd te zijn. Ons appartement (hotelkamer voor 4) was heel ruim, schoon en comfortabel. Met twee aparte slaapkamers, luxe badkamer, keuken en zitgedeelte. We bleven maar 1 dag in PG: heel handig dat het hotel op 2 minuten loopafstand is van het haventje en immigratiegebouw, en ook vlakbij enkele lekkere restaurantjes. Tot slot: hotel serveery in eigen tuin een heerlijk ontbijt. Aanrader!
