We were met by Charlie and his sons at the dock when we arrived from Leticia and taken to the cabins. They are a short walk from the centre of town, on a beautiful property surrounded by nature. The cabins are simple but impeccably clean, comfortable and with everything you might need. Charlie and his family helped us arrange activities, transport and meals for the three days we were there. They are some of the warmest and most welcoming people we met on our trip around South and Central America. We had a truly wonderful time staying here, and only wish we could have stayed longer. It was the highlight of our trip.

Though the location is a bit off the center, currently blocked by construction site and took me longer to reach, it's really good value for money and the host was always kind to offer water, tableware and common ingredients. Fray and Helena provide a welcoming environment in the middle of the jungle, with cute monkeys and parrots present on site. The rooms are simple and “roots”, but comfortable and match the environment. You get what you come for, peace and quiet right there on the Amazone river. Highly recommend.

The property and facilities were spotless and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I left our key with another person in our group accidentally and was not able to return it when checking out. The front desk was incredibly helpful and understanding and helped us getting a tuktuk driver to return it to the hotel.
