Warm family owned retreat. Holger, Natalie and their kids are exceptional hosts . We enjoyed the pool, clean rooms and proximity to the town. Off street safe parking. AC in the rooms worked a treat and the rain shower was warm. Hot coffee awaiting in our private outside lounge area every morning and fabulous breakfast available on order. We would definitely stay again !

We loved our brief one night stay at Amazilia's Guest House. It's actually a newer home that has been divided into apartments with a communal kitchen/dining area. We also loved the pool and covered area by the pool which is a lovely place to picnic. It's in a very quiet location just outside of Liberia and the property is very well maintained. Unfortunately, we did not have time for breakfast as we had to catch our flight. Communication with the owner was great.

Everything! First of all, the reception such friendly, nice people. Helped me with everything about the area and what to do, especially since people don’t speak English in Liberia. The property was really nice, had an awesome outdoor area. Lots of places to relax. Kitchen was big and had everything you needed. Room had air conditioning and was so nice and cold when we went into the room to escape the heat. Sheets and towels were nice and clean, lots of bathrooms nearby to use and good condition. If I go back I would definitely stay again!

The apartments are so beautiful and you feel at home as soon as you enter it. It’s made with much love and has a beautiful design. The location is of course a bit off but you have 2 restaurants in walking distance and so many nice beaches around. Out of all my accommodations I had in CR this was my favorite. Also the owner is just the best person ever! Such a warmhearted, funny woman, always there to help if you need anything! :))

Questo ostello ha superato le nostre aspettative, situato in mezzo alla natura, ma allo stesso tempo vicino a tutti i punti principali come spiagge, bar, ristoranti e il supermercato a due passi. La nostra camera era nuova, molto bella, pulita e accogliente. Non c'è l'aria condizionata, ma questo non è un problema grazie ai due ventilatori abbiamo dormito una favola. Lo staff accogliente e solare. Ci tornerei assolutamente.

Even though it's the rainy season, it's wonderful to enjoy the forest from above, the little birds, the mist over the trees. The staff is amazing, kind, attentive, super friendly, and eager to make sure you have an unforgettable experience. The food at Taru restaurant is marvelous, the wine cellar has an amazing wine selection, and the sommelier takes the time to show you all the options you have. The room had a work area, which was perfect since I had a couple of meetings. The internet never failed. The coffee in the room was perfect, making you feel so comfortable that you don't have to leave. The entire place is designed for you to enjoy, relax, and be worry-free. They pick you up and bring you back from your private suite to the restaurant, pool, or just because...... They genuinely care about you so that, as a guest, you don’t have to worry about anything except relaxing and having a great time.
