The apartment was ideally located for us as a family of four visiting legoland for a day. It contained all the facilities we required.

This was a fantastically located apartment literally steps away from the Lego House. Free parking outside, well heated and well ventilated. This apartment has everything you need for a comfortable and affordable stay in Billund. I would highly reccomend renting a car, car hire is so cheap from Billund Airport and driving is really easy, zero traffic. We really explore the area and highly reccomend Aarhus, Odense, Ribe, Jelling, Velje and of course Billund. We did a day trip to Aquadome in Lalandia which the kids loved but could be pricey. You can take your own food and drink in there. Lego house was phenomenal, highly reccomend you pre booking your tickets. Legoland was closed in February but we didn't feel as if we missed much. As there is a lovely softplay in Lalandia which we accessed almost everyday for 60 kroner. The kids had a blast. The price for food and drink in the main concourse of lalandia is exhorbitant. But in the aquadome itself reasonably priced. The supermarket ABC is again a few steps away from this apartment and extremely reasonably priced. Denmark is very expensive to eat out generally so if you want to cut costs, I suggest you prepare your meals at home. The apartment is equipped with oven, stove top, microwave, kettle. There is a dishwasher. We got amazing weather when we were there. It was cold but sunny. Highly recommend the Hans Christian Anderson Museum in Odense as a whole day activity for the family. The Wadden Sea Centre in Ribe was fascinating as well. The street food market in Aarhus was quite good as well. Jelling museum was fascinating. There are many many museums in Denmark and they are not free so I suggest you do your research and see which ones you want to do.. communication with the host was great. Very helpful. Apartment was spotless and easy to tidy up and clean. The sofa bed was comfortable and bed linen and towels are provided. If you are visiting Lalandia you will need your own towels.

It was a real pleasure to pass a night here and we will return for a longer period. Marvellous house(s) and and immense garden. The place is decorated with love and has all the needed facilities. The place offers a large garden. Here, you can rest under apple and pear trees and observe the sun going down. The hosts were present but not dominant. They were very very very kind and helpfull.

This house is ideally situated if you are doing LEGOLAND/Llandia & Lego house. It’s in a quiet residential road, very safe, warm and clean. This is a five minute walk to the restaurants. There is also two supermarkets in a few minutes walk. The house was perfect after long cold day’s exploring. It is so warm (I’m a cold person). I actually made dinner one evening as I have a fussy eater, everything I needed was here to cook for her. The host sent everything I needed t check in, key in a lock box etc. They even let us drop our case off early. Excellent communication.

Bed & Breakfast “Den Gamle Lade I Hejls” bevindt zich in Hejls, op 16 km van Koldinghus Royal Castle - Ruin - Museum en 50 km van Vejle Music Theatre. Vooraf prettig contact met de verhuurder. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Mooi ingerichte, ruime kamer met fijne bedden. Mooie badkamer met lekkere douche. Heerlijk ontbijt! We hebben het hier heel fijn gehad en komen graag nog eens terug!
