Our room had a magnificent view of the town and while it was slightly difficult to navigate the loft area due to the slope of the roof this was communicated beforehand. The owner did not speak any english but was extremely hospitable and kind. He had a translation app ready to go meaning that he could accommodate many nationalities. If you are looking for a very quiet, clean, and charming apartment centrally located to Epernay and Champagne in general this is the perfect spot.

Classified as a Historical Monument, this 17th-century building sits in a 7-hectare wooden park in the heart of Champagne. Rooms in the château and the orangery have en suite facilities and free Wi-Fi access. We have been staying here for a couple of years on our way back from skiing. A lovely hotel with a great welcome and a superb restaurant. We will be back.

The very spacious bathroom was excellent with a great shower. There is a compact kitchen easily up to cooking a meal. There is a lobby where dogs can sleep as it is clearly forbidden to let them in the bedroom. Breakfast was served in Christine’s dining room.
