Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Very helpful staff and great breakfast.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Location, our room was comfortable, shower wonderful. Great breakfast and staff friendly. We’ve been here before and will return again

The room was warm and welcoming. We booked 50 minutes earlier, the receptionist said, The room is ready now. Beautiful grounds to walk around. Felt like one of the elites staying there to be honest. The breakfast was really good and plenty of choice as we sat in this amazing place for our breakfast. Staff are all lovely people. The cleaners were friendly and smiley. Really impressed by the whole experience will visit again.

Il Westbourne è una splendida struttura situata nella tranquilla zona sotto Biskey Howe, nel Lake District. La camera era pulita, il bagno nuovo e molto carino , la posizione buona perché a piedi si arriva subito in centro e con una piacevole passeggiata non troppo lunga al lago di Windermere, comodissimo il parcheggio interno . La zona è silenziosa e abbiamo dormito molto bene su un letto fantastico!

Situato a 5 minuti di auto dal lago Bassenthwaite, il Ravenstone Manor è un maniero del 19° secolo immerso in una tenuta di 3 ettari. Absolutely everything, the professionalism of the staff, the amazing scenic view from the room (number 1 and number 3 as we decided to stay an extra night), the amazing bed. They were also very accommodating with our dog, and the dog walk around the hotel is marvellous! The restaurant food was also really great! And so was the breakfast! Thank you
