Location, staff, food - dinner and breakfast, cleaninness! The view of the room was super nice! Breakfast was really nice, with good options on the buffet but also the chef cooking fresh eggs and omelette!

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. The host was charming and very welcoming. The dinner was excellent, the chef is a real talent. The peace of the area, a bit fewer folks up this way. The views. The cute chapel on site. The very interesting history of the property.

Ormurinn Cottages se nachází ve městě Egilsstadir. Ve všech prostorách je zdarma dostupné Wi-Fi. Chata má kuchyňský kout, TV s plochou obrazovkou a terasu s grilem (k dispozici pouze v létě). The location, what a beautiful place setting. Lush green grass overlooking the lake!

Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. Velice hezké moderní ubytování. Pohodlná postel s několika polštáři na výběr, pokoj menší ale útulný. Vybavená koupelna a kuchyně. Doporučujeme připlatit si za lázně, mají optimální teplotu a k dispozici je i sauna a široká nabídka drinků.

Hótel Gerpir se nachází v destinaci Neskaupstaður a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách a pokoje s klimatizací. The staff was very kind. Nice and clean room with TV, Netflix, comfy bed and enough towels. The breakfast with view was amazing. Food was tasty and good quality, same with beverages. We could check in after midnight.

Fjalladýrð Hotel se nachází v destinaci Modrudalur a nabízí zahradu. Na místě je terasa a využívat můžete také bezplatné Wi-Fi a neplacené soukromé parkoviště. Clean, bigger than other places we stayed, quiet. It was more than we spent on other locations, but we can see why.

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses se nachází v destinaci Egilsstadir a poskytuje zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a výhled na hory. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Hengifoss lodge. It's a dream to stay here. Once entered you're greeted by the warm smell of ember caused by the wood that was used to make this house. The colours and the layout of the room is incredibly cosy. The fireplace keeps the house (almost too) warm, and the window + terrace give an exceptional view over the lake and mountains. The hosts are also amazing and gave us the feeling that we're not only welcome, but also that they really understand why we chose to go to Iceland. We asked for help with our fireplace and the host, Isabelle, came to the rescue. She tried to help us to lit a fire but to no avail. We did however have a really good conversation. However when she left, we were content enough. Yet still she knocked on the door and winked us to come over. She told us enthusiastically that the Northern Lights were dancing and fully visible, we had to come outside! The next morning it was kind of raining, a little bit. But the sun was also shining through the clouds. The husband, Steff, called me when I was standing on the terrace. He said: "There is a rainbow there!" and pointed towards slightly behind the house I was standing in front of. I walked to the side and indeed saw a beautiful rainbow. This might not say much to other people wanting to stay there. But to me it feels like these people have such a connection with Iceland, its beauty and understand that we are there for the same connection, they told us to look at beautiful views which Iceland offers, and we were delighted to follow their guidance. Thank you Isabelle and Steff, for the warm welcome. Whenever we're in Iceland and planning to go near Eggs, we will definitely make use of your beautiful little houses.

Undiraldan - Steinholt, old music school se nachází v destinaci Seyðisfjörður v oblasti Island – východ a poskytuje patio a výhled na město. Ubytování nabízí terasu a neplacené soukromé parkoviště. Excellent apartment. We only stayed only night but it is perfect for a much longer stay.

Hengifosslodge Skáldahús se nachází v destinaci Egilsstadir a nabízí zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a výhled na hory. Amazing place, delicious welcome cookies, exceptional decoration, friendly staff, amazing view, high-end furniture, very comfortable bed. Highly recommend.

Greystone summerhouse se nachází v destinaci Egilsstadir a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a výhled do zahrady. Hengifoss se nachází 37 km odtud. Perfect - everything you could want in a vacation cabin. Coffee maker was an added plus. Very central to Egilsstadir and the east.
