There was air conditioning for every room, including the living/dining/kitchen, which worked effectively although the weather was very hot (up to 36C during the day). Most importantly for me, the house had a car parking lot.

ヒルズハウスセカンド si trova a Tokoname e mette a disposizione la vista sulla città, un giardino, una sala comune e una terrazza. Junichi and Kazuko are the best hosts ever. I loved them, their house is a wonderful japanese dream house. I had for breakfast the most delicious "focaccia" bread of my life even if I'm italian. Junichi is a great cook and Kazuko help me a lot giving me information about ceramic and galleries. I had two memorable nights at ヒルズハウスセカンド and I will come back soon to Tokoname.

Beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean and very well equipped. One of the most equipped and clean apartment I have stayed in. WiFi was good too. Both toilets are downstairs so maybe difficult for elderly but we had kids and they loved running up and down.

It’s a hostel with shared bathrooms, but everything is very nice and clean, with great attention to detail and tasteful decor. There’s a café on the ground floor where you can enjoy a snack in the afternoon. Getting there by car was a bit tricky due to a very narrow street, but overall, it was a great stay. I would definitely come back!
