Most importantly for me, the house had a car parking lot.

The apartment was HUGE for Japanese standards. One of the biggest apartments we have stayed in in Japan for sure! The location isn't in the middle of everything but there is enough stuff around within walking distance to get food, drinks, etc. Loved the location for the vibes of feeling like a local not to far of a walk to public transit. Super clean, well stocked with all amenities one would need for a long stay.

Kazuko en Junichi zijn twee vriendelijke mensen die alles in hun werk stellen om het verblijf aangenaam en interessant te maken. Junichi kookt ook zeer lekker. Kazuko heeft ons geholpen met het zoeken naar een zeer specifieke theepot van een oude keramist. Ze heeft deze voor ons gevonden en ons volledig op weg geholpen. Spijtig dat we maar 2 dagen geboekt hadden :-)

The location couldn't have been better! Located close to Osu Shopping Street, with many eateries nearby. Plus, the Osu Kannon Station on the metro subway was just a 10-minute walk away, making travel around Nagoya super easy. There’s even a minimart near the station, which was perfect for grabbing quick snacks and essentials. Additionally, we loved the cute board on the wall in the room that provided information about interesting places nearby, including shops, restaurants, and other attractions. It was such a thoughtful touch and helped us discover some hidden gems in the area! What truly elevated our experience was the staff. They were incredibly polite and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was providing local recommendations or addressing our questions. It’s a hostel with shared bathrooms, but everything is very nice and clean, with great attention to detail and tasteful decor. There’s a café on the ground floor where you can enjoy a snack in the afternoon. Getting there by car was a bit tricky due to a very narrow street, but overall, it was a great stay. I would definitely come back!
