媛邸【ＥＮＴＥＩ】 si trova a Matsuyama, nella regione Ehime, vicino a Joshin-ji Temple e Matsuyama Shrine. La struttura propone il WiFi e il parcheggio privato, entrambi gratuiti. La struttura era elegantissima e super curata. Spaziosa, cosa che capita sempre meno in Giappone e soprattutto il piano del bagno! Stupendo.

The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is excellent, and so is the kitchen. Parking is right next to the entrance. The area is very quiet. Self check-in was easy. As a bonus, there were sherberts from the host's farm waiting for us that were absolutely delicious.

The owners of this stay were so very very kind. We had to inform them that someone on our reservation was unable to come due to an illness, and they went out of their way to get her a souvenir! How kind is that?! When you arrive, they give you a cup of, possibly, the most delicious heated orange juice I have ever had. Genuinely both my brother and I were shocked at how good it was lol. They were also very complementary of my terrible japanese, so bonus points for hyping me up XD. The stay itself is quite small, but it has a magnificent view out of the window to the beach and the palm trees, and the sunset over the mountain is breathtaking. It also has everything you would need for a stay, fridge, microwave, table, kitchenette, etc. Special shoutouts to the shower, holy crap the heat and water pressure from that thing were life changing, and I wish I could have taken that shower home with me. Genuinely in the months that I have stayed in Japan that was the best shower I have ever had. No worries about food, there is a Konbini very close as well. All in all this was a wonderful stay, very convenient, hosts were really nice. Absolutely will try to stay here again when I retry the Shimanami Kaido.

The hosts were adorable and the place was welcoming and comfortable. I especially loved the “summer blanket.” Would happily stay again.

I arrived late by cycling around 7pm. The road it self was quite dark with no street light. Meaning location wise if u are going to check-in late, better mindful to reach early. It was kind enough that the staff willing to wait for me. He was super friendly and I had a good time.

Everything was super clean, the spaces are really nice and it is perfectly located in the middle point of Shimanami Kaido :)

Ottima posizione vicina ai pochi ristoranti della zona. La proprietaria è molto discreta, fortunatamente parla bene inglese ed è stata molto gentile aiutandoci a prenotare la cena al ristorante. Casa un po' vecchio stile con letti non comodissimi ma molto caratteristica. Colazione iper proteica perfetta per gli sportivi.

Posizionato a 30 km da Henjou-in Temple e 30 km da Kawara Museum, しまなみ海道お宿ぽんぽこ mette a disposizione alloggi a Imabari. This lovely traditional Japanese house was a wonderful place to stay on our bike trip. While neither party could speak the other's language very well, we were able to communicate fine. The luxury touches in the beautiful and spacious rooms made everything feel welcoming. If you like fish, make sure to order the kaiseki meal that the hosts will prepare for you. It is worth every penny. They also offer a simple but elegant breakfast included in the stay. We started calling this the "it's all downhill from here house" because we knew we wouldn't be staying in anything as grand for the rest of our trip.
