It was easy to comunicate with the staff as they spoke perfect English. For breakfast we had to choose Western style set or Japanese style. We liked everything about our stay. Highly recommend!

The apartment has a hot tub and room service. The hotel is pretty and pleasant, and check-in was straight forward. The room was well-designed and comfortable, and parking was convenient. They also provided a free ticket to the public onsens in town, which was a nice touch, and a light breakfast for free as well (tea/coffee/juices with small croissants and cake, which were suprisingly tasty).

It is Japanese style mixed with some western, there are juices, tea, coffee and desserts. The staff serving breakfast was very polite and neat. What we like best is the private room Japanese dinner which we enjoyed for the 3 nights. Very exclusive and different night, different menu. On our last night our dinner was changed from 2nd floor to the 10 floor which allow us to see the night scene of this little town. I highly recommend this for family or honey moon couple. We booked 3 rooms and requested for our rooms to be next to one another and the hotel helped us with this request. The Onsen in this Ryoken was clean and comfortable both indoor and outdoor. Walking from Tendo station to here is about 15 mins. The room is super comfortable, clean, shower and WC separated, well furnished in Japanese style. If I have a chance, will return.

The property is around 17 km from Akayu Station, 22 km from Takahata Station and 23 km from Uesugi Shrine. Yonezawa Station is 25 km from the hotel and Kaminoyama-Onsen Station is 33 km away. The rooms were excellently furnished at a fantastic price point. The amenities available were top class and the service from staff was excellent. Definitely a gem hidden in regional Japan. There is even a fantastic common area and sky deck that I don't recall seeing on the listing prior, that only enhances the quality of the space!

They picked us up from the bus stop, took us to hire our ski gear, sorted our ski passes and dropped us at the slopes and picked us up! Their hospitality is the best in Japan! The accommodation is sooo cosy and warm! The beds are really comfortable and we loved everything about our stay! You can not find better hosts! It is our second time staying here and we will definitely be back again! Highly recommend staying here!

Featuring an open-air bath and views of river, R;MOGAMI is a recently renovated villa set in Kiyokawa, 27 km from Shinjo Station. Also the in-person check-out was great and they were very attentive. The room is beautiful and it has everything that you need. I recommend it.
