You can see giraffes and zebras from your tent, which is incredible. Best of all has to be the staff - Nelson and the team are always ready to help and very friendly. The food by Chef Nelson is excellent and they’re very flexible to dietary restrictions. All in all, I was very glad I chose this place compared to other expensive lodges.

Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

It sits down a quiet lane but is just a one-minute walk from a small supermarket, and only a five-to-ten-minute drive into Narok town. Just a heads-up: there’s no breakfast provided, so if you want something in the morning you’ll need to pick up supplies or head into town.
