We had great experience in Thanamal-Villa! We stayed in small house (not tent) and this place was surprising clean and comfortable! We needed place to rest before Safari in block 5 and 6 and it was a great choice! Thanamalvile is a small village, with local restaurants and shops and Thanamal-villa is located close to main roa, but behind it , there are calm fields and nature. The owner is so nice and hospitable! He took us even for short ride around the village- it was a great way to spending time there! You can also arrange safari with him easily! Room was simple but clean, there was a AC. Bathroom was small but had everything what you need. In the evening we could sit on the terrace and listen the peacocks voices. Thanks for everything!

It was so so nice to stay here ! Thomasa if the nicest host ever so available and helpful. I ate in his house for diner, and it was delicious ! He took me to Ella by tuktuk and the ride was awesome. I truly recommend you to stay here.

This was our second visit to Mailagama Cinnamon Residence and we were truly happy to see again the owners of the hotel, Indira and her husband. The hotel is located in a picturesque place among green rice fields. We loved walking around the area - there are large lakes nearby, and there are few people around, but an incredible number of peacocks. A real kingdom of peacocks. The room was clean and spacious, with a balcony with a great view. There was also a big shared terrace to work online or to do yoga. The fans helped to cope with the heat, which was important for us. We really liked the Srilankan food at the hotel - delicious and served with great elegance. Manager Inbaraj was always attentive and helped us with any questions. On his advice, we visited two temples - Rock Temple where you can see dozens of funny monkeys and Kataragama Maha Devalaya. Both places are interesting and atmospheric, especially the latter, which is famous for its festivals throughout the country. We hope to come back here next year to see the beauty of the nature and to feel the special friendly atmosphere.

We did the full day safari and it was a great experience! We saw so many amazing animals. We cannot recommend this place enough. The family is so kind and the service is excellent. The room is also very clean and comfortable with high quality Aircon.

Wadula Safari - Yala is gelegen in Kataragama in de regio Monaragala District, dicht bij Kataragama-tempel. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Prachtig hotel midden in het bos. Jij wordt opgehaald door de eigenaar omdat de weg zeeeeerr bumpy is. Elke kamer is in een eigen klein huisje, er waren er een stuk of 5. De eigenaar heeft ons een korte rondleiding gegeven over het terrein met waanzinnig uitblik over de plassen. Het eten was zeer lekker en alles is goed georganiseerd.

Tranquil Wild ligt in Tanamalwila met uitzicht op het zwembad en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, snackbar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. The owner is very friendly.The hotel is next to the national park.You can see many animals there.The dishes are also very delicious.They also organize Safari trips.Although we didn't see leopard, we also saw other animals.I highly recommend everyone to live here.

Nishadi Holiday Inn Kataragama ligt in Kataragama, op 18 km van Tissa Wewa, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een privéstrand en een gedeelde lounge. We came to Kataragama for 2 days of a full day safari tour. The place is simple, clean and ideal for that 2 -3 nights stay close to the Yala National Park.. There is no hot water, but the weather was so hot that we won't need that.

Sam's Stay Buduruwagala ligt in Wellawaya, op 39 km van Demodara Negenbogen-brug, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, the place was friendly and we had a great time. Great communication between Sam’s place and us before we travelled ensuring all our needs were met when we arrived. They were very helpful and provided us with information and recommendations for things to do in the area. I would recommend and we will be booking again soon. Thank you Sam!

The staff were very helpful & always happy to fullfill our needs and requests.Malintha was very welcoming & always made sure we were comfortable & happy. Nilmini, Pradeep & the rest of the staff always made us feel at home. The food was delicious, especially the buffet breakfast. Pradeep made special Sri lankan breakfast for us. The service was exceptional & 5 star rating. Credit to Malintha for managing the hotel to the standard it is providing it's guests. I'll recommend Kynrock hotel to anyone who wants a 5 star experience down south. A beautiful & memorable stay for my family. Will go back next time without a doubt.
