Sometimes you can even spot elephants in the distance, which feels magical. The location is great too: it’s close to everything and there’s also a beach nearby. The staff were wonderful, always kind and helpful. We’d definitely love to come back.

Really lovely small resort on a nice beach. Bungalows are spacious and nicely decorated with enough space for your clothes. Bed was very comfortable, air condition good and quiet at night. There is a fridge/mini bar, a safe, an ironing board, umbrellas, a beach bag, a water boiler with tea and coffee and a television that you can watch your streaming platforms on. you can get beach towels in the reception building, as well as breakfast, or just coffee, beer, drinks etc. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They also organise a motorbike for your or have a free shuttle service up to the main road with a lot of restaurants and shops. the small beach in front of the hotel is very nice and you can get sun chairs or bean bags from the hotel. the atmosphere is very peaceful, lots of birds everywhere and truly a place to relax. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Location on the pier was walking distance to beaches, many restaurants and very peaceful at night. Very clean with helpful and friendly owners. Delicious breakfast and food, with beautiful decks right on the water.

You feel fully immersed in the jungle but also can see the ocean. You can hear the sounds of monkeys in the trees, and all the huts have hammocks. There are good places to eat within walking distance and it's also close to Bang Bao pier and fisherman's village. The huts are super clean and the staff are friendly. Definitely would stay again. Also it's great value for money.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming resort, which is run by a lovely French family. The place was impeccably clean, and everything in the room felt either brand new or recently renovated. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of a small village with everything just steps away. Although it’s close to the street, the resort still managed to feel calm and peaceful, offering the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The refreshing red pool was a highlight for me, providing a much-needed escape from the heat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a great stay. And the breakfast? Fresh, delicious, and served with care—it was a wonderful start to a day. This resort truly combines convenience, comfort, and great hospitality. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore the local area while enjoying a clean and cozy retreat.

Boasting river and mountain views in the background, the lobby, terrace and indoor pool are located right along the river where guests can relax, have a drink or meet friends. During the stay, Watercolours provides a complimentary use of the canoes and kayaks to paddle up or down to the nearest beach - Khlong Prao Beach. I loved the resort the minute I walked in. The location is beautiful. It is a 5 minute kayak ride and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful long beach. The resort is on a river. It is so peaceful and near to town and many restaurants. The river was perfect to swim in with lovely views. Quiet deck with stunning views of the river. The room was amazing, big, well designed, private, and so comfortable. The resort was very peaceful, with the small gardens and nature surrounding the resort. The staff made me feel at home. They were so kind and genuine. The menu was limited as you would expect at a small resort. The quality of the food was excellent. It was OK for me.it was convenient if I wanted to eat the resort. There are many great local restaurants that you can walk to from the resort. A few of them were directly on the ocean. It was a great value for the price. It was so nice I changed my stay at another resort from two weeks to one week to spend another week at Water Colours. I rarely give a 10 for a review. I could not find one thing I did not like. When I visit Koh Chang, I will stay at Water Colours.
