Everything! The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

The name dream bungalow is accurate we wanted to live here forever. The garden, the outside kitchen and all the decor is beautiful, the whole place is very well thought out with everything you need, it’s very private and peaceful we absolutely loved it. The villa was secluded and beautiful. Just what we needed for a short getaway. Breakfast was served on time daily and it was great - delicious and lots of variety. We got there an hour before our expected time and the hosts were accommodating about the change in time and met us at the villa when we got there. We'd definitely stay here again!

Such a gem of a hotel! The interiors were gorgeous; the restaurant served great food in an ambient setting; the location was perfect, and above all Ismail and his team were nothing short of exceptional hosts.

I have stayed in many places during my visit to Sri Lanka, all in similar price range, and this place was one of the best. Very clean, AC working properly, specious room, comfortable bed, clean linen and very friendly owner. Quite far from the beach and town centre but it didn’t bother us as we had our own tuk tuk.
