We had an amazing time at Orangutan Bungalow! Staff were so helpful. We did the 3 day trek through them which was incredible. We also saw some orangutans on the property and from our balcony.

There’s also a lovely river swimming spot just 5 min walk away! What made my time here the best was the kindness of Putra, Maya, and Fitraya. They are all lovely and make sure you feel at home. Not to mention, the food is amazing (especially the Chicken Rendang!) I did the 3 day 2 night trek with Putra and had such a fantastic time - he clearly knows a lot and cares for the jungle, it was such an awesome experience. Located in Bukit Lawang, Sawah Resto Bungalow & Jungle Trekking features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.

We had an unforgettable stay with Imo and Nino. We had originally booked 2 nights and then we added 2 more because we felt at home. The accommodation was perfect and very clean (the bed is super comfortable!!). Nino organized our entire stay, he gave us advice and walked us everywhere, teaching us lots of things. We were able to go to the market with Imo and enjoy afternoons and evenings chatting and cooking together. It was our second family during these 4 days and we are extremely grateful for these good times spent with them. I recommend everyone to stay at Karo Hill and take the time to talk with them because they are wonderful people!! Thank you again for everything, we will not forget you, we can't wait to come back and share a good meal ;)♥️

Located in Krui, a few steps from Walur Beach, Kambuna Bungalow provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. kambuna was super cosy and homely. the team took such good care of us and were super nice people! Wati made sure we were well fed (her homemade bread is delicious) there was construction going on at the property and we’re excited to go back! property was right in fromt of the peak!! epic to check surf all day
