My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

Situato a Norwood, il Royal Majesty Bungalow offre un ristorante e servizi gratuiti quali la connessione WiFi in tutte le aree e un parcheggio privato. I was welcomed and cared for in an outmost great manner by Ruban, Lisha and Desmand. They were always present and ready to help out with any requests. My departure day included another personal service- all the way to the train station including the waiting time there. The food is simply wonderful. A tour, behind the scene at the tea factory was a learning curve and definitely another high point. Never again will I have a cup of tea without gratitude to the hard working tea pluckers (mature women), field and factory workers. Just to learn about tea. What it is, and the different stages of production? The bungalow is the only place that offers a field and factory tour combined. The tea pluckers will eventually fade away as young people do not want to take over. So there is a shift on its way. The bungalow, as well as the Tea Queen bungalow ( 10 years old) are tucked away above the town Norwood. The area is great for hiking, walking. To visit this unique place is totally recommended.

Everything was amazing - the staff, the food, the rooms, the views around. Amazing. What a pity that we spent so little time here. I want to go back to Sri Lanka just because of this place and its stunning beauty and silence.
