Beautiful old family home with lots of history. The staff were amazing and really looked after us. They cooked incredible meals for us, especially the night we asked them to do a BBQ. One of the best meals we ate on our trip. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at Mountbatten Bungalows was perfect. We came at a full rest after touring Sri Lanka for about 2 weeks at the breathtaking (shaded ;-)) pool, in the beautiful garden and during the lovely diners/breakfast outside. The staff and management was very friendly and the chalets very comfortable.

The bungalow sits atop a hill with a view of a river, hills and forested landscape capturing a picturesque view of Kandy. The morning mist encompasses the bungalow making you feel you're living in the clouds. With an infinity pool and attentive service and a gorgeous property this stay capped my entire Sri Lanka trip. The bungalow is located 15 min drive from the main property but check-in and everything else is handled directly at the bungalow. The rooms are clean and well furnished. Manju (head of housekeeping) took our orders and overall made our stay enjoyable. The food cooked by the private chef was memorable. Would encourage all friends to visit.

The location was perfect very near to the centre , very calm atmosphere and the host was very kind and has helping nature, made us feel like home. We were very comfortable Room was clean and spacious bed mattress was very soft and comfortable restroom was also clean all necessary things were there. We loved the breakfast also it’s SriLankan style and he provided fruits after breakfast. He helped us to find best place to do shopping. If you need any help he is very approachable and when we need auto in early morning for our train he helped with that too. So overall it’s a wonderful place to stay.

We arrived straight from Colombo Airport to Nishi’s beautiful home in Kandy. Namadi Heights is a lovingly decorated private home filled with family history, memories, and artisanal antique pieces. Hidden in the mountains, it offers a stunning scenic view over the city and yet allows you to reach Kandy center easily by foot or Tuk Tuk. While you stay on the family’s property and can enjoy the outdoor common areas, you also have your own little entrance to a private terrace and the room with private bathroom. Nishi is a wonderful human being and an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, treated us to delicious food (probably the best breakfast we had in all of Sri Lanka!), and was incredibly helpful and supportive in organizing our activities and next travel steps. We unfortunately only stayed 2 nights, but we would have loved to stay longer, especially because we enjoyed our conversations with Nishi and her husband so much! They were our first link to land and culture and we are so grateful for all the information, tips and tricks. Thank you, Nishi and Bandula, for everything, hopefully we will be back sooner than later🫶

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kandy Siebel Bungalow, hosted by Anoma and her daughter. Although my stay was brief—just one night—I was thoroughly impressed. Upon arrival, I was welcomed warmly and offered a delicious dinner.My room was beautifully upgraded to feature one large double bed and a single bed, perfect for families or groups. The stunning mountain view from my room was a highlight, and the fast, stable Wi-Fi made my stay even more enjoyable.The location is excellent, just a 23-minute walk from the train station, in a lovely area with good bus connections. Anoma's kindness and helpfulness truly made this homestay a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Lion Shade Tourist Bungalow - Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority Licenced presenta la vista sul giardino, il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato gratuito a Katugastota, a 6,1 km da Centro... Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Relaxing and very comfortable. Nice, clean and quiet place. Outdoor garden with lush greenery enhanced that experience. Staff are super friendly and helpful. On our request they arranged transportation to attractions in and around Kandy. Sri Lankan breakfast served was fantastic. They have continental type breakfast too. Will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Sri Lanka.

Rockbourne Bungalow prevede una piscina, un giardino, una sala comune e la vista sulla montagna nella città di Kandy. Tutti gli alloggi hanno il WiFi gratuito. Il bungalow è una bellissima casa coloniale, appartenuta e abitata da Sir Thomas Lipton. Molto più grande di quanto si percepisce dalle foto. Perfettamente mantenuta con arredi coloniali. È stata una piacevolissima sorpresa, un posto unico. Eravamo gli unici due ospiti con due persone di servizio locali gentilissimi. (Si occupano della casa e della cucina, non parlano inglese ma intuiscono perfettamente quello che desideri. Ci hanno anche accompagnato in una passeggiata nella piantagione.) Il giardino meraviglioso, abbiamo fatto colazione in giardino, con le scimmie che guardavano a distanza. La cucina è locale, preparata con molta cura anche nella presentazione e servita con una gentilezza indescrivibile.
