I had an amazing stay at this beautifully designed and comfortable house. It was fully equipped with everything I needed to feel right at home. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway in the heart of Hiriketiya, this place is a fantastic choice! Whether you’re traveling solo (as I was), as a couple, or with kids, it offers something for everyone. The owners have really thought about the needs of different travelers, making it a thoughtful and accommodating space. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk to the beach - ideal for enjoying the sun and surf. I also loved the proximity to Salt House, a sister company, which offers drop-in yoga lessons and an amazing brunch - definitely a must-try! From check-in to check-out, all communication went smoothly, and the property manager was incredibly friendly, always available and ready to help with anything I needed. Thank you!!

Offering garden views, Subodinee Bungalow in Weligama offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything! The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

We felt right at home, thanks to the lovely family and great home cooked food. The pool was lovely and the room with balcony was a perfect spot to enjoy the breeze and birds ❤️

Bungalow By Tropical Villa, a property with pool with a view and a garden, is set in Weligama, 28 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium, 28 km from Galle Fort, as well as 28 km from Dutch Church... The villa very close to the Welligama beach (walking Distance)which is ideal if you want to have some drinks/food with some breeze looking at surfers or book some surfing lessons There are also a number of food out lets. Most importantly, the staff make you feel very welcome. Not only do they provide good service (what you expect from a Villa), but they are also observant and friendly. Even though we went as a couple, I think this Villa is well worth for Families, friends or solo travelers because of the friendly staff and the beautiful location. The Breakfast was amazing my stay. The rooms were clean, Small but comfortable. The entire property felt well maintained. The Pool is cleaned frequently and nice. We definitely will return to this great Villa.

Awesome location, direct access to the beach suitable for swimming and snorkeling. Feels like a private beach almost. Close to Polhena beach as well. Very friendly family. Loved the whole setup of the property. The food was very good too.

Talalla Beach Bungalows in Talalla South has a garden and direct beach access. This bungalow features free WiFi and on-site dining. Nice vibe and directly situated at the beach! Madu and team are just awesome. As a solo travelling woman I felt always very safe. Breakfast was good as well as the Restaurant. The beach is quiet and nice and perfect for swimming.

Absolutely the Best Way to Explore the Sinharaja Rainforest! This was our favourite place we stayed on Sri Lanka trip. This eco-lodge is hands down the ultimate way to experience the magic of the Sinharaja Rainforest. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear you’re in for something extraordinary. The location is beyond words—completely surrounded by lush rainforests, making you feel truly immersed in nature. It is so peaceful and quite - no noise from roads, traffic etc. The staff made our entire stay seamless and stress-free. They have a convenient car park in the nearby village, where they meet you and transfer you up to the lodge in a 4x4—what a fun start to the adventure! We stayed for two nights (but would have happily stayed a 3rd). The accommodation is spectacular. Large windows on every side of the room allow you to feel like you’re right in the heart of the jungle. Waking up to the incredible sounds of the rainforest was unforgettable, and we even spotted monkeys and exotic birds right in our room! Amazingly, you also get wifi in your room. The staff were outstanding, from the friendly restaurant team to the knowledgeable guides. On arrival, the Duty Manager, Mithun, warmly welcomed us, explained all the details about meal times, and helped us plan treks into the rainforest. They offer a variety of treks and provide you with a guide. They are also pretty flexible, We wanted a longer trek to explore more of the jungle and this wasn't a problem. The trek itself was a dream. We spotted an incredible variety of wildlife, including lizards, snakes, and a stunning array of Sri Lankan birds. The guides were so knowledgeable and enhanced the experience. Overall, this was incredible value for money. Running such a well-maintained eco-lodge in the middle of the rainforest can’t be easy, yet they make it feel effortless. If you’re looking for great value for money and an unforgettable way to explore Sinharaja, this is absolutely it.
