Located in the green mountain area of Gerês, HI Geres - Pousada de Juventude do Gerês is 5.4 km from the Homem River and the Vilarinho das Furnas Dam. Off season is like paradise. Only 6 staying at the time so they gave us all bottom beds and only 2 people per room. Good size wardrobe for each bed. Breakfast is amazing if you are not many. Coffee, juice, water, bread, ham, cheese, tomato, different spreads and muesli, fruit, yoghurt and even baked brownies. It's amazing for the price you pay
