Stay in an air-conditioned tent at Tiger Machan, which is 1.5 km from Rathambore National Park. With the wild jungle on one side, the property has its own restaurant. What is not to like. A wildlife haven and prime place to stay because of its grounds. Pools of fantastic bird life and wildlife in night just for you. Veggie food is amazing, service outstanding. We were in a luxury tent which I think is their cheapest option and was great. Recommend fort visit with Bablu ( driver ) who also sorts out transfers for you if you've booked your own safaris via the ranthambore official site. Highly recommend zones 2 and 4 if you can get them. Don't just get hung up on tigers (we did see them), there's so much more out there ie storks, antelope, deer, turtles, mongoose, boar and the fab sloth bears. A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Sawāi Mādhopur, Ranthambore Nature Camp Resort is a luxury tent surrounded by views of the garden. An absolute little gem of a place. Far from the hustle and bustle but still very close to the tiger reserve. The luxury tents were clean, quirky and wonderful- we wanted to stay longer. The food outstanding also. Thank you to Deepak, Chetan and the rest of the staff for making this the best stay we have had in India so far!

Boasting garden views, Jungle Cave Resort features accommodation with pool with a view, a garden and a tennis court, around 36 km from National Chambal Sanctuary. We spent 3 fantastic days at the Jungle Cave Resort and really enjoyed every moment in it. We are a family of four, couple and 2 boys aged 12 and 10. The room is very spacious and the bathroom too, plenty of hot water, A/C and fridge in the room, the food is delicious and they made huge efforts to satisfy our boys with non spicy options, all the staff, manager and owner, very nice and friendly. The garden is beautiful and the boys enjoyed playing cricket with the staff and the swimming pool was a blessing every afternoon and evening when coming back from the safaris. A great place for families.

Boasting pool with a view and views of garden, Jungle Book Ranthambore is a recently renovated luxury tent situated in Sawāi Mādhopur, 45 km from National Chambal Sanctuary. Our favourite place we stayed out of 3 in Ranthambore. Beautiful peaceful location, shame we could only stay 1 night and didn’t get to use the pool.
