It was really great to have some prepared food and some to cook ourselves. All fresh and delicious. Good location with beautiful views. Very relaxing and loved some of the smaller activities available. Room was the perfect size and great setup for the views and with bathroom and eating area.

Dinner and breakfast was good (self bbq and toasting of sandwiches at the patio - which was in fact not that cold with the heater switched on). They also provided little tricycles, scooter and balls for the little one to play with. The road up was a little steep but it wasn't too hard to get to! This is a really special experience. The tents are up a winding road and look out to the valley. The meals provided are in a cook-your-own style so you can BBQ while chatting with friends or family. We went during the winter and ended up being the only ones staying there that night and it was really special, quiet and dark. The outdoor private onsen experience was also great for the family as we were able to all get in. We weren't able to see stars at night, but it snowed heavily during the night and the kids could build snowmen and have a snowball fight in the morning.

Daichan House bevindt zich op 2,1 km van Harutahama Beach, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Daichan is very kind and willing to share a lot of interesting stories. He helped me getting around Yakushima Island and showed me the interesting spots. He has also been very reactive when my ferry got cancelled and I did not know what to do. The tent and the bed were very comfortable, which I wasn't really expecting! There are lots of pictures and documents scattered around the facilities which gives plenty of charm and personality to this place. I can not recommend it enough!

Amazing view room 2 - Vacation STAY 66275v biedt accommodatie in Kushima, op 40 km van Horikawa Bridge. We loved the outdoor patio that was shielded by plastic curtains and the provision of a heater. Even though it was pouring outside we were able to grill comfortably with the equipment and utensils provided by the hosts. We enjoyed the use of the outdoor sauna. It was amazing to see horses just outside our tent. Would 100% recommend others to stay.
