You can get there by normal car (no 4x4 needed) though you have to drive carefully as the last part of the way is a gravel road. Larbi is a great host who will tell you about the real nomad life. The conditions are basic but it is close to real nomad life not in a style of a luxury tent. Bright stars at night, quietness and a very nice and honest host. I am sure one day we will be back to go with him to Erg Chegaga. Thank you Larbi for your kindness and stories you shared with us.

The camp has the perfect location, I came by share taco and they picked me up with a motorcycle from the Main Street. All of the staff are lovely people, I felt more than welcome and really had a great experience! The food was great, my tent really spacious and beautiful and the facilities clean. Would definitely recommend it to anybody who wants to stay for one or more nights in the desert but doesn’t want to book a guided tour!

This is the most authentic Berber experience you can have in the Moroccan desert. Before the trip, Younes contacted us via WhatsApp to understand which activities we would like to do. The road is not paved, but you can get there with a regular car. The tents are big and comfortable, and most importantly, they are not close to each other as you often see in other desert camps. The bathroom is very clean. The food service is incredible. As we spent two nights, we had two breakfasts (included), two dinners, and one lunch. The food was very authentic and plentiful. They take care of every detail. We did a three-hour camel tour with Mohammed, which was also a very nice activity. They asked us if we wanted to go for longer, but after three hours, it was perfect for us. I highly recommend this camp to anyone traveling to Morocco.

Staying at the Chegaga Berber Camp was nothing short of spectacular—a true desert adventure! From M'hamid, our guide Moubarek expertly navigated the desert to our campsite, enhancing the journey with sights of caravans and oases. The camp itself was authentically Berber, blending tradition with comfort to create a serene escape. Highlights included a stunning sunset walk, a candlelit dinner under the stars with heartfelt music, and engaging conversations with our hosts about life in the Sahara. Thanks, Mohamed and Ali. This experience is a must for anyone looking to connect with nature and culture in a profound way.

We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced. It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside. You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light". Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues. So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.

We had a great time in this beautiful and peaceful environment in the dunes. So many stars! great rooms and delicious food! the staff is super friendly and helpful! they can organize everything for you from pick up from the airport to short or long excursions to live and explore the amazing desert by dromedars or 4X4. 100% recomendable!

The camp is located perfectly fine in some dunes with stunning views. We were lucky enough to be the only guests for the night so we had the campsite to ourselves. The dinner was absolutely fine and we were offered to have a campfire if we'd wanted. What we enjoyed most was the quietness and the stars during the night. No dune-bashers or cars (thank god!). The host is as friendly as you can imagine and organized a camel ride back to the parking area for the following day with a local guy which we also enjoyed a lot. Also communication was easy and pick could be organized smoothly. Definitely 10/10.

Luksuslikust telgist avaneb vaade mägedele. 10/10 doesn’t describe how amazing this stay was! A true desert immersion. We had a transfer from Mahamid. Our driver and also our guide spoke great English and provided an amazing experience, showing us the Nomad villages on the way. The food (we had lunch, dinner and breakfast) was one of the best we had during our 10 days in Morocco. The camp definitely exceeded our expectations, was right next to the big dunes, was super comfortable and clean, with our tent having a private bathroom with a shower and hot water. We took a camel ride to the big sand dunes and sand boarded down them. Cannot recommend enough! An absolute must when you’re in Morocco!
