His welcoming warmth made us feel at home. We picked him up and drove out to his camp not knowing what to expect. We were remote, away from the tours, with waves of golden sand at our feet. After tea, Beth and I walked the dunes to watch a lovely sunset. After a delicious tagine, we were surprised with a full moon rising and a sky of stars. The quiet was deafening, then broken with Berber rhythms from Larbi, his brother Nayim and friend Bryham. We danced by the fire and then shared life stories. We now have a new desert family.

The camp has the perfect location, I came by share taco and they picked me up with a motorcycle from the Main Street. All of the staff are lovely people, I felt more than welcome and really had a great experience! The food was great, my tent really spacious and beautiful and the facilities clean. Would definitely recommend it to anybody who wants to stay for one or more nights in the desert but doesn’t want to book a guided tour!

Esperienza autentica come le persone dello staff, il luogo, il deserto e ogni singola esperienza vissuta che ricorderemo per sempre! Prelevati a m'hamid con il 4x4 della struttura, viaggio di 90 minuti al costo di 90€ (andata e ritorno x 2 persone). sul tragitto abbiamo visto animali della zona. Arrivati abbiamo passato due notti lí. La prima molto tranquilla, che abbiamo trascorso chiacchierando con lo staff veramente gentile, simpatico e sempre disponibile!! Chiacchiere davanti al faló con Mohamed, ottimo cibo cucinato da Alí (forse il migliore che abbiamo mangiato durante la vacanza) e un cielo stellato incredibile! Notte nelle tende berbere, con mille coperte. Il giorno dopo passeggiata in cammello, e poi divertimento tra le duene con passeggiate e sandboard (tavole disponibili gratuitamente). La sera è arrivata una famiglia e dopo l'ottima cena, abbiamo partecipato ai canti berberi davanti al falò e poi chiacchierato.

We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced. It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside. You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light". Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues. So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.

Mhamid Nomad Camp propone un alloggio con giardino, terrazza e ristorante a Mhamid e dispone di WiFi gratuito e vista sulla montagna. Wonderful camping site, tents had shower and toilet, very clean, nice dinner and breakfast, amazing bonfire and local music. The staff was very well organised, we took a Jeep ride to the camp and traveled back on camels, both were truly amazing, allows you to enjoy unique nature, very beautiful, highly recommended.

Great spot for enjoying the desert! we did a day trip to Er Chigaga from the camp and was amazing! Mubarak and all his team are great. was very nice hearing the story of Mhamid around the bonfire

Erg Chigaga Regency Camp si trova a El Gouera e propone la vista sulla città, un giardino, una sala comune, una terrazza, un ristorante e accesso diretto alle piste. 10/10 doesn’t describe how amazing this stay was! A true desert immersion. We had a transfer from Mahamid. Our driver and also our guide spoke great English and provided an amazing experience, showing us the Nomad villages on the way. The food (we had lunch, dinner and breakfast) was one of the best we had during our 10 days in Morocco. The camp definitely exceeded our expectations, was right next to the big dunes, was super comfortable and clean, with our tent having a private bathroom with a shower and hot water. We took a camel ride to the big sand dunes and sand boarded down them. Cannot recommend enough! An absolute must when you’re in Morocco!
