The space itself was private and very thoughtfully arranged. The bedding was warm and comfortable. The water heater and stove were much appreciated in the chilly weather. The owners were incredibly nice, and I'm very grateful for them offering to give me and my bicycle a ride back to the train station when stormy weather made it rather risky to cycle there myself. All the other campers there were very friendly as well. Highly recommended!

The facilities are great and the location ideal to visit the small towns of Endhuizen and Hoorn but also Amsterdam, Edam, Volendam etc. The tent on the side of the river under a greenhouse is really original and the open bathroom has a tropical flavour…. Kees, the owner was kind and very responsive- he gave us excellent info. We were also lucky to have the place to ourselves - a real luxury! The jacuzzi at night was so nice too.

There is a donkey and other animals that could possibly wake you up a little bit earlier then expected but this adds to the whole expirience!
