We stayed here for 3 nights and we really loved the place. Situated in a nice, peaceful site. Which included many things such as a basketball court, bar and cafe, takeaway pizza place and easy access to the beach. A stones throw away from the main Dovercourt beach area. An ideal location for anyone looking to get away and relax by the sea and at a reasonable price. Dealing with the owner of the holiday home was a pleasure. She was very kind and didn't bother us at all. The home was clean and had all that you would need. Everything was working correctly and if there were any issues, all it needed was one phone call. Fortunately there were no issues at all. We love the area of Harwich and we would definitely stay again and recommend to our family and friends.

The shepherds hut, nestled in the trees was perfect for enjoying the natural surroundings. The site has been kept small enough to provide a sense of specialness. My favourite part was swimming in the pond. If the weather had been colder I would have tried the sauna on the pond.

The hut was warm and inviting and very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom area. Rob was very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be returning!
