We couldn’t recommend this accommodation more. Cleonie is a fantastic host, so helpful and friendly. The overall accommodation has everything you could want, including a decent size fridge, incredibly comfy bed, a little TV and WiFi as well as plenty of pots, plates etc to cook with. It is an amazing location, close to supermarkets and some of the most beautiful parts of the Lakes but is a real tranquil spot - enjoy the hot tub, once you get the hang of it (thanks to Cleonie for showing us to load it full of wood). The best part - the resident goats!!

Received directions and lockbox pin code almost instantly, was able to store my pedal bike on the patio, the caravan was spotlessly clean and the wifi was fast, theirs a Smart TV with free view, I used it to watch YouTube, appliances were easy to use, fresh milk of my choice was waiting in the fridge along with quality biscuits, the place is scenic, I was able to get fresh sea air whilst I rode my bike around the coastal path, exactly what I was after for a overnight static caravan stay.

Offering garden views, Hill Of Oaks is an accommodation situated in Windermere, 46 km from Derwentwater Lake and 50 km from Askham Hall. Everything was exceptional, from the people who worked at the hill of oaks to the accommodation. The cottage was beautiful so many personal quaint details. It was clean, modern and well thought out. We had digital tv in every room and they also provided a travel cot for our baby. Jacky at the front desk was so helpful and friendly she even provided bird food so we could feed the very tame ducks and made us feel very welcome. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning in the near future. Everything was exceptional thank you

Punchbowl Caravan Park, a property with a bar, is located in Penrith, 34 km from Derwentwater Lake, 41 km from World of Beatrix Potter, as well as 48 km from Buttermere. Punchbowl pub very nice. Good food.

Mountain View Shepherds Hut, a property with a garden and barbecue facilities, is set in Penrith, 16 km from Derwentwater Lake, 23 km from Askham Hall, as well as 29 km from Buttermere. Everything was as advertised, there wasn’t a single problem i had.

Howbeck Lodge asub Hesketi Newmarketis, 30 km kaugusel Askham Hallist, 41 km kaugusel Buttermerest ja 26 km kaugusel Broughami lossist. Toateenindusega majutusasutuses on ka piknikuala. Location was a little out of the way, but it was such a peaceful place to stay. This one cow seemed to have been cranky and never stopped mooing overnight, but I ended up liking the cow sounds in the end!

Very well equipped caravan, from the kitchen to everything you could possibly need to keep the kids happy and entertained. Comfy beds, nice and clean throughout. Beautiful location, the host was so helpful, friendly and accommodating for our booking on short notice. We will definitely come back again!

Lovely quirky hut 🛖 with added bonus of the BBQ hut ,all set in lovely garden ,easy to find and excellent base to discover south lakes!!
