The recently opened Ninja & Geisha capsule hotel was an amazing experience for us. The coolest place where everything is done with a great taste, right use of technology and very convenient. Value for many is exceptional. Why to stay in a capsule hotel? We wanted a unique Japanese experience. And the new Ninja & Geisha capsule hotel seemed a good candidate. All our Japanese friends with whom we discussed this idea were very skeptical about capsule hotels. The hotel is located next to one of the entrances to the metro station. There are two separate floors for men and women with maximum 48 occupants per floor. There were not so many people, somehow we saw only one person although there were quite a few returned pyjamas. Interior design. The design ideas are impeccably implemented in the hotel. It’s possible that the hotel was designed with foreigner visitors in mind, so there are many paper lanterns and traditional pictures. Everything is made with a great taste, with the best equipment available. If I lived in Japan, I would look for the team behind the hotel to do the interior design of my house. Sleeping pod is a minimalist enclosed bed, with a small shelf, one power and two USB outlets. My pre-arrival worry that the small room will begin to give me claustrophobia was not justified because the capsule has a good air conditioning and a curtain instead of a door.

All capsule hotels in Osaka

Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Quite a nice gem ..I am glad i book this capsule hotel. It was good. better than i expected. It was clean and staff was helpful . There was a nice sushi stall just 50 m away from the Hotel .. Beyond that , the Metro subway is nearby .. and there are plenty of restaurant around the area. The hotel breakfast is ok. But the choice is limited. I like the capsule cabin ..great experience. I enjoy the japanese bath . Good locations ..and comfortable . Will be my prefer choice of stay whenever i am in osaka.

Staff were friendly and helpful, especially around check-in / check-out and my baggage. Rooms were bigger (taller) than other capsule hotels I've stayed in. Room was clean and cosy and I appreciated the amenities provided, and the air conditioning control in the rooms. They even had an emergency button which I accidently pressed (thought it was the light switch) and a staff member came straight away. The bathrooms especially were well-kept and the female-only onsen was a nice addition.

A very faithful to the Japanese original capsule hotel concept establishment. Communal bath, with onsen and sauna facilities to boot. Basic amenities are provided generously, and some additional efforts are made to further convenient the guests with vending machines readily accessible by just tapping with the wristbands provided and put onto your tab which you would need to settle prior to checking out.

Not an average Japanese capsule hotel, the capsules are much roomier. The service is friendly. The bathing area on the top floor for men is just that plus.
