Rainbow Valley Lodge has exceeded expectations and was really magical place to stay. Location and the view are just fantastic. Staff is very helpful. Room was very comfortable and very clean. We got so many amazing recommendations and really didn't want to leave this magic place.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The attention to detail in the glamping setup was exceptional—everything was beautifully arranged, clean, and cozy, creating the perfect balance between luxury and nature. This place is a feast for the senses - it is stunning visually, the food is exceptional and fresh, and we slept so well every night. It was our favorite stay of three hotels on our trek through Costa Rica. We were in awe of the landscape, the vibrant design of the casitas, and the care that has gone into making such a special spot. The manager of the property was gracious, set us up with activities as requested, and adds to the joy of this place. If you are a creative, bring your materials - you will find inspiration here! She was enchanting to our whole family and inspired our daughter to want to paint more right when we returned home.

The villa was very beautifully furnished and decorated. We loved the morning view of the well maintained garden, where you could often see wild agutis having a snack. The shared kitchen area is in a separate building in the middle of the garden, and is very cosy and well decorated.

Nice quiet area, beautiful garden en view from the restaurant. Delicious food, better than expected and exceeded our expectations. We had dinner two nights before at the four season what we did not like. Boena was a lot better!!

Staff were so helpful and kind, they made it a lot of fun. Great trail system just steps from the cabin. Cabins were even better than expected and we saw lots of wildlife from our little terrace. Our kids loved this place!

    The wooden cabin family accommodation was absolutely gorgeous and the secure grounds were well maintained and peaceful. We saw a lot of wildlife in the grounds. Stella's cafe was fabulous for breakfast and lunch and only a few minutes walk away. Cafe Monteverde, which was opposite Stella's, did fantastic coffee. We were met by Gabriel, Regina's son, who was welcoming and helpful with advice regarding day trips.

    Breakfast was great and you had options. The cook even got up early one morning so I could eat before my tour. All I had to do was ask and they helped me set up shuttles to my tours. At the last moment they even set me up with a night tour. The cabins were clean. The bed was comfortable. A bakery, connivence store and restaurants are within walking distance or a 2min. drive. There is also a spectacular view.
