This was an amazing experience! Viraj and his family greeted us at the top of the mountain with tea, followed by a short hike down to the camp. It’s situated on a remote mountain surrounded by tea plantations and absolutely peaceful. In the morning you can see a beautiful sunrise from bed and the family prepares the most delicious breakfasts, dinners and BBQs. Unfortunately we were both a bit sick but Viraj’s family took great care of us, prepared some herbal drinks and drove us to a doctor and pharmacy where they translated everything. Thank you very much! Would definitely recommend!!!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Nature Lodge Bandarawela! The place exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a perfect home away from home with everything thoughtfully provided. The lodge comes with a fully equipped kitchen—complete with kitchenware, spices, and all the essentials, making it easy and convenient to prepare meals. There’s a cozy living area with a TV, fridge, and a comfortable sofa bed, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bedroom is spacious, featuring a double bed and a bunk bed, perfect for couples, families or groups. The bathroom has hot water, and the entire property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. A special thanks to Mr. Lal, who made our stay extra special. Every morning, he served a delicious breakfast right on time, and was always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and we truly appreciated the peace of mind provided by the CCTV cameras around the property—it's very secure, so there’s no need to worry. Overall, this place is absolutely worth the money. It’s a peaceful, clean, and welcoming environment. We highly recommend Nature Lodge to anyone visiting Bandarawela!

Absolutely beautiful location and villa. I’ve stayed in a lot of villas in Sri Lanka and this is hands down the best. We had transport problems and the host and owner were so understanding and accommodating. One of the best weekends of our lives, would 10000% recommend to anyone.

Can highly recommend this place! Sri Lankan people are friendly, but this is next level. Super friendly host and his family. The view from our reading nook is terrific, better than the nine arches itself. It’s a spacious room, with a Beamer to watch TV during the rain, and very good bathroom. Part of their service is the outstanding breakfast, served one level below, looking out over the valley. It may be located a bit further from the city center, but they offered to drive us anywhere any time with the TukTuk for low rates, did our laundry, and arranged our taxi for tomorrow for a price we couldn’t arrange for ourselves. Long story short, I highly recommend this place!

The view from the room was beyond expectations, it's absolutely surreal. The staff at the property is so helpful and caring and they also helped me plan my day trips to near-by waterfalls and treks. They also pick you from the train station as a complimentary ride. Overall top-notch hospitability.

An oasis near Ella. A very quiet place with a beautiful view, very nice and well equipped room! The breakfast was also very good, there was also space for our bikes. Highly recommended!
