We stayed 6 days in this wonderful hotel and it was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip in Sri Lanka!!! The hotel is located in front of the beach and guarantees full immersion in the natural frame with the breathtaking view on the sea and at same time with the comfort and services of the luxury hotel. Furthermore, it is close to interesting tourist areas, amazing beaches, restaurants,…The hotel is modern, cosy, furnished with great taste and sense of details, everything is perfectly clean, the swimming pool is amazing, the food is delicious!!! Isuru is a very welcoming host. The property is situated within a beautiful garden which is 5 minutes walk down the hill to Talalla beach. We had use of cooking facilities and a large fridge which is very useful, and stocked with beer and water. The breakfasts were amazing!! Tallala is a beautiful place to stay with a handful of lovely places to eat in the evening.

Staying in this treehouse was an unforgettable experience! The owners are the kindest people I've ever met. They welcomed us with delicious snacks, refreshing cold towels—so refreshing in the heat—fresh fruits from their garden, and delightful homemade lemon juice. As a thoughtful gift, they even offered us cinnamon sticks from their own tree! The treehouse itself is beautiful and has everything you need, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a toilet. Sleeping among the trees in the jungle is truly special. In the morning, even we told the owners that we are leaving really early, they prepare food for us. Breakfast was fantastic, featuring fruits, vegetables, and spices from their garden, which was simply amazing. This lovely couple truly embodies the warmth and hospitality of Sri Lanka. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Best value for money so far in Sri Lanka. Great location by the river. We saw some tree snakes, peacocks and chipmunks. Nice balcony to chill on with breakfast. Air con was perfect and adjustable. Nice towels.

This was the best stay in our whole trip (3months). Everything is just perfect. The family is so nice and helpful with everything. Location is next to the river and it is very quiet. The room is so big and just perfect with small kittchen. You can find many beautiful details and it is very cozy. They surprised us few times with some sweets and one morning they served us their breakfast. We love their dog 🐕

Everything! The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!
