Fantastic place where I particularly particularly loved the terrace, the magnificent garden (so many species of plants, birds and animals!) and the breakfast. You will never find a better and more service minded host than Udika. Always smiling and singing. A truly happy place to stay. Walking distance to the centre ant to the Lion Rock, but not recommended walking about in the dark due to the wildlife.

The room is spacious, very clean, with a nice hot shower and the bed was big and comfortable! For this price, the quality is very good! The family is also very friendly. Location is a 5 minute drive from the centre, which was no problem for us because we had our own tuktuk. It is a quiet and calm location, and you can see hornbills and other animals in the garden! The breakfast was traditional and good, but maybe they can ask guests what they would like more/less and adjust a little.

Location: The villa is in a quiet place, off the main road so you only hear voices of the forest, rarely any cars or motors. The rooms: there are 4 rooms, 2 with fan and 2 with a/c. They are simple but spacious, the bathroom is simple but there's hot running water and it's clean. The beds are comfy and big. Breakfast: JUST GREAT. Big Srilankan breakfast, everyday a little different, prepared and served with care and attention. I just wish there was more fresh fruit for breakfast :) Proximity to attractions: walking distance to the entrance to Lion's Rock (10-15 min) and 15 min to the city. For other attractions we recommend to take the bikes and explore the surrounding, such as Pidurangala Rock for sunset (but go earlier and explore the whole area. There are ancient Buddhist gompas all around worth visiting and seeing before climbing up the rock), the big Buddha statue from where you can get directly to the entrance to Lion's Rock and the moat. Hospitality: I cannot appreciate this enough. Both Fernando and Niroshan are great, kind and extremely helpful. Loved the place, we can only recommend it.

Our stay here was fantastic! Room was clean, comfortable beds and breakfast was delicious. But above all it was Anil and his lovely family that made our stay perfect. Incredibly kind and helpful with planning our trips and driving us everywhere by tuktuk. Be sure to have dinner at the lodge at least once during your stay, it was the best!

Wonderful stay at the property. The room overlooking Lions Rock was amazing. We had a very comfortable couple of nights sleep, and the breakfast every morning was fantastic. Traditional Sri Lankan food, from amazing hosts. Slightly hard to reach via car and TukTuk as the road is quite bad, but this did not affect our stay. We recommend this place 😊

This was the best hotel we’ve stayed in during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. The manager was very friendly, the food was delicious (we had dinner and breakfast). The experience to sleep in a tree house was just unique - being surrounded by nature with the comfort of a super nice hotel, what more can you ask for? In the morning we took a dip in a little stream running through the property, fish spa included ;) The mosquito nets over the beds are new (and reassuring - there are a lot of frogs and insects living in the forest)… Don’t hesitate to book your tree house, you won’t regret it (our only regret is to have stayed only one night).

Perfect location, perfect home, perfect family. We stayed here for three nights and could not have had a more perfect stay. We were made to feel so welcome from the first minute we arrived there! Spacious and clean room with great bathroom, with views from the roof out to Lion Rock. They arranged a scooter for us, helped us book an elephant safari and were fantastic with recommendations and directions for things to do in the day. The location is really nice and quiet but close enough to the Main Street, with wildlife all around. We also had breakfast made for us as well which was epic. The most beautiful family and the perfect stay.

We were more than amazed with this place. If I could rate 100/10 I would. It was brilliant and you MUST stay here. The views were incredible, you could see Lions Rock from the balcony whilst sitting in comfortable chairs with a nice cold beer or a cup of tea. It was so peaceful, quiet and a truly magnificent place. The family were just the kindest and loveliest people who could not do enough for you The Mother cooked us 5 star food for our breakfast, which was an enormous traditional Sri Lankan feast and we had such a fantastic evening meal which she also cooked. She is very talented. We were not aware that we could have booked a Safari direct with the owners Son which had we not already booked one, we would do this next time. He spoke good English. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and had a kettle and we were always asked if we wanted tea or coffee or water. We were contacted via what's app to keep us updated on our room and check in and also to contact then if we needed anything during our stay. If there is one place you have to stay in Sigiriya then this is it. We WIlLL be back!!!!
