It was in a beautiful place and the way it was build was perfect. Comfort and big with a lot of space. It was a dream!

Oh my gosh. This place was heaven. Blinder views. Fabulous food. Great bar. Everything presented in such a beautiful way. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We'll come back for sure.

With Sesriem Canyon reachable in 34 km, Namib Outpost features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar.

The facilities were incredible, it was very secluded and quiet, and we saw plenty of zebra, oryx and springbok at the watering hole. There were no other guests booked in when we were there so we had the whole place to ourselves! The staff were incredibly attentive and it was such a special, memorable trip for us.

Actually we were re-booked to another hotel Le Mirage. All our feedback is based on the experience at Le Mirage. It happned that Sossusvlei Lodge had technical issues (water supply) and we were re-booked to another hotel. It was organized very smoothly. By the way, we had dinne at Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant and the food was great! Buffet in open terrace. We tasted different kind of grilled meat (Eland, Kudu, beef, oryx).

Absolutely everything! This place achieves perfection on every level, and it's the epitomy of what one would dream of, when thinking of an African safari lodge. The entire setup is beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. The outside seating area on the large wooden terrace, right at the edge of the waterhole, with trees providing shade, was just perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The pool was perfect too, as was the chalet, and the food was absolutely top-notch. Last but not least, everybody was really friendly and smiling, we felt most welcome. Overall, it's great value for money. Our only regret is that we had to leave.

Situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, Hoodia Desert Lodge offers accommodation close to the Sesriem Gate. The lodge offers an outdoor pool.
