The monnikendam village is so beautiful. The accommodation felt brand new and has a nice feel. The chalet is warm and cosy and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We also really enjoyed hiring electric bikes and going to surrounding towns of edam and marken. The owners provided information for bike hire. The communte to and from amsterdam on the 314 or 316 bus was so easy, cheap and only took 16 mins from monnikendam to amsterdam Central station. By far exceeded our expectations and the perfect place to stay to visit amsterdam but be away from the dirty city and experience a trational feeling town.

Very well-maintained campsite with many small waterways. The staff was always friendly and gave us lots of information.

The lodges are in a very quiet and beautiful area, perfect for a calm weekend, and the possibility to use the natural swimming pool is a great plus. The lodge contains all the necessary amenities, a spacious bathroom and is decorated with a lot of taste. The breakfast was just delicious and it is amazing to enjoy it peacefully on our own terrace. Last but not least, the staff is extremely welcoming and kind and do their best to make our stay as great an experience as possible!

Situated in Bovenkarspel in the Noord-Holland region, EuroParcs Markermeer has a garden. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay.

The location was perfect! Just a 20 minute cycle ride into Enkhuizen. The location of the house was fab too as it was on the end (only neighbours on one side) and right next to the marina with boats coming in and going out… Fantastic location for walks, dogs are welcome too! Two restaurants within a 3 minute walk underneath the bridge into the harbour… Supermarkets within 4 mins by car… Definitely go have a drink and dinner at ‘t Ankertje in Enkhuizen. The staff is fabulous and the food is great’

Great place to stay! Just 15 minutes away from Amsterdam, the bus station is 5 minutes walking distance. The location is really special, real Dutch spirit. The host was great and available for any questions. There is even a small boat which you can use! Highly recommended! 10/10

Peaceful, calm, beautiful, with all the required utilities. A doable distance to the capital. Bikes available for rental. Experiencing farming behind the scenes, feeding calfs. Very nice hosts. Worth every penny.
