The location was scenic and peaceful. The gardens were stunning, so we enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the views. John was extremely accommodating. We had to change our booking dates at short notice, and somehow, he managed to make it all work with no stress for us.

We could not have hoped for a better place to stay, or for better hosts. Juliet and David have created a beautiful place to stay in a quiet, stunning setting, forming a perfect base from which to explore Queenstown, Glenorchy and all of the stunning area around. The room was perfect, the breakfasts were outstanding ( they do undersell them by calling them Continental breakfasts......they're so much more than that), and the banana bread is more legendary than Lord Of The Rings 😊. To top it all, Juliet and David are perfect hosts; friendly, generous, informative...everything you would want from hosts, and so much more. If we are lucky enough to return to New Zealand again (sooner than the 20 year gap between our first and last visit), this will be the first place we book. Thank you both for helping to make the end of our holiday so memorable. Mark & Liz

Everything was perfect there. The decoration, the staff, and the room were extremely comfortable. Oh of course and the view from the room was divine. Walking distance from the city center really helped a lot as well.
