The location was perfect, just in the middle between Vaitape (the main village in Bora Bora) and Matira beach (the only public beach in Bora Bora). The apartment was very cozy and comfortable, it had everything we needed and was good value for money. Patrick, the owner, was really friendly and helpful, he made us feel at home.

Very nice accommodation on the island. Easily accessible and has a good location close to Matira beach. Francesca was so helpful and sweet to us, she helped us arrange the activities during our stay and helped us rent a scooter. Thank you so much! We will return!

Lovely apartment with absolutely everything you could want including air con, a coffee machine and toaster. Immaculately clean. Hosts really welcoming and helpful. The grounds were beautifully set out with a lovely place to sit in the shade and chill plus a good sized pool. There are 3 resturants within about 500m and the beach is less than 30 mins walk. Bikes are available for hire if you want to explore more. Snorkeling trips can be arranged through the apartment and they will come to pick you up and drop you off. A really nice choice in Bora.

We can only say positive things about this accommodation. The tastefully and modernly furnished apartment, the inviting pool, the spacious green garden, and the peaceful atmosphere allowed us to enjoy an extremely relaxing week. We stayed a week at Mareta Lodge. The unit is new and modern inside (much more to our liking than the more traditional wooden decor in many of the expensive resorts). The bed and AC make the stay very comfortable. There is heaps of storage to the point where my wife could fully unpack! There is free wifi, flexible check in/out and all doors are well sealed to keep insects/heat out. The kitchen is has an induction cooktop, microwave/convection oven, a rice cooker and kettle. There is a lovely Al fresco undercover area with outdoor table and chairs overlooking a tropical garden. The location is superb, next to a local convenience store and 10mins walking distance to Matira beach, the best public beach on the island, along with many restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here

I liked everything about Sunset Hill Lodge! From the friendliness of the staff (Dolores and Gérard), to the excellent condition of everything in the unit (nothing broken, damaged, no duct tape or other temporary fixes), to the comfortable bed, linens, pillows, etc. It was all really well maintained and managed. Everything was clean and tidy. The appliances were relatively new (frost-free fridge/freezer, Bosch gas stove top) and worked great. Air conditioning worked great. Big windows with screens, which I preferred using overnight instead of the AC. Both Dolores and Gérard had helpful information about nearby stores, the public beach, etc. The view was lovely, and the location was walking distance from 2 grocery stores.
