The lodge is well designed and furnished. It gives you a sense of coming home immediately as you entered. It is cozy and homey. Its location is also superb with the town just a street away and the wine tram stop down the street. The pool is warm and plus, they also have a tennis court in property.

Amazingly different experience

Banhoek Lodge is situated along the scenic Helshoogte Pass, which offers an array of wine farms. The lodge boasts views of the vineyards and mountains.

The place is beautiful with amazing views over Simonsberg, 2 pools, Wine tasting Room, amazing food, great wine and very hospitable staff. Candice checked us in and gave us the lay of the land. She is a jewel of a woman, and although I also work in the hospitality industry and travel a lot for work I’ve never met someone that is so genuinely nice and forthcoming to guests. She always tries to accommodate everyones needs, and I’ve watched her go the extra mile with all other guests too. She’s amazing at her job and you can tell she’s made for working with people. I hope she’s recompensated well for her efforts because she’s really great at her job. Thank you so much for a great stay, and we will return later this month because we loved the place and how we were treated here.

Pearl Valley was beautiful, Jenna the manager was very good and in contact the whole time we stayed. 20 mins from Franshoek and 15 mins from Paarl.
