Wonderful garden to braai and relax, giant comfortable beds, cleanness, but mainly: the family who runs the lodge. They were the most amazing, caring and kind people, and I had the best time being treated to Hungarian food and drinks :) There is nowhere else I would stay if I go to Joburg again. As much as I do not like the city, I had an incredible stay at Anka lodge!

My stay was absolutely magnificent! The property was stunning, beautifully decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail, from the breathtaking garden views to the well kept amenities, made it feel truly special and memorable. The host went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. This was one of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had especially considering the amount of effort put into the nature which is on the premises. This lodge, only a few mins away from Jo'burg is a very peaceful place. You would not expect to find such a place within a city, but here it is. I enjoyed everything about it. A little piece of nature and of the bush in the city. The owner David is lovely, welcoming, always willing to help. very nice service and team working there. I totally recommend this place. And feel free to ask them about the tours they can offer !
